First Steps Pregnancy Support receives no Government funding and relies on the generosity of others so we can support pregnant women in difficult circumstances.
Your support will enable us to provide accessible and personalised pathways of care to pregnant women in crisis in the Queanbeyan region (including ACT), providing medical, practical and social support in a safe and nurturing environment.
We are accepting donations of good quality baby clothes up to size 1 to stock our Baby Boutique as well as Maternity Clothes in excellent condition (please ensure clothes are washed and ready for use with no stains or repair needed). The Baby Boutique will enable women with limited finance to have the special experience of shopping for their baby for minimal or no cost, with our rewards program enabling FSPS clients to accumulate vouchers for engaging with our programs. Our boutique will also be open to the public when we have surplus stock, with all profits going back into the work of FSPS.
We are also collecting children's books in excellent condition to stock our reading corner. Instilling a love of reading from an early age has great advantages for a child's growth and development and we will be encouraging women at all stages of parenting (including while they are still pregnant) to read to their child.

We have many opportunities to be involved and would love to hear from you if you have particular gifts or skills that you would like to offer FSPS. We will have formal volunteer intake rounds advertised through our newsletter and social media platforms, but please contact us directly at contact@fsps.org.au outside of these times.
