The Everest Challenge 2024

Chris van der Spek successfully completed the Everest Challenge on May 18th at Black Mountain in Canberra in order to support FSPS. He completed the required 39 reps to reach the ascent of Everest at 6:21pm with a total time of 14 hours, 56 minutes and 14 seconds and a distance of 195.65km.  We are so grateful to Chris and to our generous supporters who donated to the cause, with $15,715 raised!

Everest Challenge for pregnancy services in Queanbeyan and the ACT

The Everest Challenge 2022

On August 27th 2022, Chris van der Spek successfully completed an Everest Challenge with 40 repetitions of Mt Ainslie in Canberra, completed in 16 hours. He raised awareness for First Steps Pregnancy Support, as well as $11,215 to help them get established in the Queanbeyan Region.  A big thanks to Chris for his support.

FSPS Fundraising Launch

June 15th 2022 was our first public event as a new organisation. We held a Fundraising and Information Drinks evening at Bean Central Café in Queanbeyan, NSW to begin to raise awareness in the local community of First Steps Pregnancy Support.
